It's customary to have a Buddhist Vegetarian meal on the first day of they new year, so I made vegan Pad Thai. It's rice noodles, fried tofu, red bell pepper and bean sprouts. There were several other dishes, but this is the only one I made.

Fried stuff: wontons, wrapped shrimp & chicken eggrolls


Those were part of the traditional new year foods we had, which also included a whole chicken, whole fish, wontons, and other stuff. They all represent stuff, like noodles for longevity, the egg rolls are in the shape of gold, whole fish means togetherness and so on...

15 degrees Picnic

Fried Chicken . The drumsticks were monstrous this day for some reason.
